The PRE series of 16 Amp plugs and sockets, produced by Appleton ATX, are engineered with a pin and sleeve construction to ensure safe and consistent power delivery to both fixed installations and portable equipment. These units are purpose-built for hazardous locations and potentially explosive atmospheres, fully rated for Zone 1 and 2 (Gas) and Zone 21 and 22 (Dust) environments in compliance with ATEX and IECEx international standards.

Designed to withstand challenging site conditions, these mobile sockets perform reliably when exposed to damp, wet, or chemically corrosive surroundings. Each unit is keyed and colour coded in accordance with IEC directives to ensure correct and safe connections.
